Above: the blur of the high desert going by as we head into the park.
A group of us endured the 18 hour round-trip drive to Joshua Tree this weekend, camping for two nights at the blackrock campground. We made up for the not-so-spectacular camping conditions with quality eats and even better company. We spend Sunday in the park hiking around and marveling at the trees set against the surreal desert terrain. The pictures after the break are pretty big so a fast connection is advised.
